Online MCAT Tutoring with a Duke-Trained MD
The MCAT rewards students who understand the science well enough to apply it to passages they have never seen. One-on-one tutoring with Quin Mallette, MD builds that understanding topic by topic, and then checks that it stuck.
What we cover
Chemical and Physical Foundations: general chemistry, physics and organic chemistry.
Biological and Biochemical Foundations: biology and biochemistry.
Psych/Soc and CARS: a study strategy and a plan for working through them.
How MCAT tutoring works
A plan built from the AAMC content outline and paced to your test date, so every hour goes to what’s actually tested.
After every session: a recording, a transcript, a written recap, and a practice drill with its own answer key.
Use Anki? Cards can be built straight from what we covered.
Each session opens by re-checking what you missed last time, so weak spots get closed instead of forgotten.

Who it is for
First-time test-takers building content from the ground up, students retaking after a score they were not happy with, and anyone preparing for the MCAT while still carrying a full course load.

Frequently asked questions
When should I start?
As early as your test date allows. A plan is built backward from the date you are testing.
Do you cover every section?
Science content is taught session by session. Psych/Soc and CARS get a strategy and a plan rather than full lessons.
Can I work with you alongside a prep course?
Yes. Many students bring a Kaplan or other prep book and use sessions for the topics that are not clicking.
